Yes! after loooong time without writing something, i have to anounce that i’ll stop to write in this blog until I finish to develop the A-Blog.

This project, totally Open Source in the release will help people who want to release a blog, with HIGH AJAX INTERACTIVITY.

For this i’ll be using jquery - it’s cool and FLEXIBLE!…

But if exists WPA for wordpress, why I need the A-Blog?: I’ll put it in simple terms : Too complicated and Buggy. I tried to put ajax interactivity, but it was really useless… practically a nightmare…

Finally, thanks to everyone who checked this blog. I hope this new project of A-Blog can help others to have COOL blogs, COOL Features, and less complicated configurations…. probably the only requirements is to know jquery and a little of css\html to know how to change sections of the design of the site…

Thank you for visiting this blog. I know (I REALLY KNOW) that this blog was under non maintenance over one year…. but studies and family life make me unable to do some updates…

Thank also for all the people who is using RSS Lightbox. i know that it has some problems, but I promise to fix in the next release.

Hello.

My most recent development was to make “talk” two web application using json as “protocol” of communications . I tried to use $.getJSON and $.ajax in order to use jsonp and make the communication. Really jQuery website do not have enough documentation to how do that, even in the example.

For us, who have firebug, was completely useless because IT DO NOT DEBUG jsonp request!!!!, so what is the real problem???

i want to share with you my solution for this problem, and also the problem of the famous “callback”.

Hello everyone

surely you have the problem how to convert a mysql query in a PHP array using an X * Y dimentional table, ideal if you are working with JSON and need to convert it.

it’s really easy to do, look

$recordset = mysql_query($query, $database) or die(mysql_error());
do{
                for($x=0;$x<mysql_num_fields($recordset);$x++){
                    $current_col = mysql_field_name($recordset,$x);
                    $rows[$current_col][] = $row_recordset[$current_col];
                }
}while($row_recordset = mysql_fetch_assoc($recordset));
 
return $rows;

later you can use JSON to encode your array…

$JSON = new jsonService();
return $JSON->encode($rows);

Easy isn’t?
